Refund Policy
How refunds work at each stage of a Press Entry order.
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains what happens if an order is cancelled or cannot be delivered. It applies to orders confirmed by a successful Stripe payment. An unpaid selection is not an order — nothing has been charged, and it can simply be ignored or closed.
1. Before work starts — full refund
If you cancel in writing before we have started preparing your coverage — before any draft has been written or anything submitted to an outlet — we will refund in full the amount you paid for the cancelled items.
2. After work has started — partial refund
Once writing, preparation or submission work has begun, part of the price has already been used on work that cannot be undone. If you cancel at this stage, we will refund the part of the price that relates to work not yet done, and we will explain what has been done and what is being refunded.
3. After publication — no refund for completed work
Once an article or item of coverage has been published by the outlet, that item is complete and its price is not refundable. This also applies where an outlet later edits, moves or removes a published article, because those decisions are the outlet's.
4. If we cannot deliver
If an ordered outlet declines your coverage and no comparable alternative is available or acceptable to you, we will refund that undelivered item in full. If we fail to provide a service you paid for and cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you may cancel the undelivered part of the order and receive a refund for it. If information you supplied is false or unusable and coverage cannot proceed for that reason, section 2 applies instead.
5. How refunds are made
To ask for a refund or to cancel, contact LISTINGS@THEPRGENIUS.COM quoting your order details. Approved refunds are made through Stripe to the original payment method — never to a different card, account or person. Stripe and your bank control how long it then takes to reach you; we will confirm in writing when we have issued it.
