Privacy Policy

How Press Entry collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

1. Who we are

Press Entry is a press and media service that helps customers obtain published media coverage, including coverage used as evidence in O-1 and EB-1 visa petitions. It is operated by AKT VENTURES LTD, 9 Park Lane Business Centre, Park Lane, Langham, Colchester, United Kingdom, CO4 5WR. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Press Entry, and "you" means anyone who visits pressentry.com, submits a selection or enquiry, or buys a service from us. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Questions can be sent to LISTINGS@THEPRGENIUS.COM.

2. What information we collect

Selection and intake details — the details you submit when you choose outlets or packages and complete our intake form: your name, email address, company or profession, a profile link you provide (for example LinkedIn), the outlets or package you selected, and what you want written about.

Order details — the items in your order, the total price, the order status, and the notes needed to prepare, submit and track your coverage.

Payment details — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded, the amount paid and a payment reference. We do not receive or store your full card number on our own systems.

Messages — emails and messages you send us and our replies, including order and selection emails sent through our email provider, Resend.

Technical information — information sent automatically by your browser and our hosting provider, Vercel, such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you visited, used to run, secure and improve the site.

3. What a selection means

Submitting a selection is not the same as paying. A selection email may state "NOT YET PAID". We hold your information at that stage so we can follow up and complete your order if you go ahead. An order is only confirmed when payment is confirmed through Stripe.

4. How we use your information

To receive, review and respond to your selection, enquiry or order. To prepare, write, submit and track the coverage you ordered, and to send you drafts, updates and publication links. To take payment through Stripe and to confirm, by Stripe's confirmation, whether an order is paid. To send order, selection and service emails, and to answer your questions. To keep records of orders and payments for accounting, tax and legal purposes. To run, secure and improve the website, and to measure how our advertising and website are performing, as described in section 7.

Our lawful bases for using your information are: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, compliance with legal obligations, and, where consent is required for cookies or marketing, your consent.

5. Who we share information with

Stripe — to process your payment and confirm payment status.

Resend — to send order, selection and service emails.

Vercel — to host the website.

Publishers and outlets — the information needed for your coverage, such as your name, profession or company, your profile link and the approved article content, is shared with the outlet that will publish it. Do not send us information for publication that you do not want published.

Professional advisers and authorities — where required for accounting, tax, legal or regulatory reasons, or where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. How long we keep information

Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet accounting, tax and legal requirements. Selection and enquiry details that do not become orders are kept only for a reasonable period so we can follow up with you, and are then deleted. Published articles and publication links may remain available through the publisher after our own records are deleted.

7. Advertising and measurement

We may advertise Press Entry on other platforms. Where advertising or analytics tools are switched on, they may use cookies or similar technology to measure whether an advert led to a visit, a selection or an order, as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not send Stripe card details to advertising platforms.

8. Security and international transfers

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and access is limited to the people who need it to provide the service. Some of our providers, including Stripe, Resend and Vercel, may process information outside the United Kingdom; where they do, they do so under their own data protection terms and safeguards.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, where there is no longer a lawful reason to keep it;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information, or object to our use of it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where consent is the basis for using your information — for example, for analytics or advertising cookies;
  • ask for your information in a portable format, where that right applies.

To use any of these rights, contact LISTINGS@THEPRGENIUS.COM. We will respond within the time the law requires. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.

One limit is worth stating plainly: information that has already been published as part of your coverage — for example, your name and the article content — is held by the publishing outlet as well as by us. We can ask an outlet about published content, but we cannot guarantee that a third-party publisher will change or remove it.

10. Children

Press Entry is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be the one published on pressentry.com, with its updated date shown at the top.
